HOW IT WORKS
Unlike microwave packs that are simply water based silica gels where the heat falls off as fast as water or heat stones that can burn people and equipment, the Heat Unit’s unique internal material radiates heat at a steady temperature. Like ice to water and vice versa at 32F, the heat unit material changes state at 154F. So boil it at 212F, take it out of the water with tongs and dry it off….it will radiate 154 for 3-4 hours depending on ambient conditions and wont burn hands or equipment!
Place any heating device standing upright next to your meals…the heat warms the air space around your meals, slowing temperature loss.
